In public avoid talking often and excessively about your accomplishments and dangers, for however much you enjoy recounting your dangers, it's not so pleasant for others to hear about your affairs.
A regret that I have from being younger… dominating the conversations. I have learned to listen well the last few years, resulting in fascinating conversations. No one cares about my high school football glory days.
We are not required to entertain our family and friends. Meaningful relationships are created through listening and connecting.
