I was shipwrecked before I even boarded … the journey showed me this — how much of what we have is unnecessary, and how easily we can decide to rid ourselves of these things whenever it's necessary, never suffering the loss.
It's difficult to quantify how events that we see as bad may have benefited us in our lives. We may forget our unanswered prayers.
Heartache and difficulty can shape a person in many positive ways. We only need to look at the situations with clarity and pragmatism and move forward.
