Managers need to manage during the good times and the bad times. Chaotic times. Confusing times.
When the stress of deadlines builds, good supervisors remain cool. Confident. Peaceful. These trickle down to the team.
Conclusion
While we may not be managers or supervisors within our profession, we do lead in other ways. We can lead as parents, as neighbors, as humans. We can lead by being calm, rational examples.
