Don't Sweat The Small Stuff

Don't Sweat The Small Stuff

Meditation for August 22, 2021

“It is essential for you to remember that the attention you give to any acton should be in due proportion to its worth, for then you won't tire and give up, if you aren't busying yourself with lesser things beyond what should be allowed.”

- Marcus Aurelius, Meditations, 4.32b

Don't get swept away with trivial matters. Our time is valuable and we should avoid wasting it on those things that do not deserve our time.

Conclusion

Letting the small things take over our lives not only robs us of our time wasted on the matter, but also is time we do not have to share with those we love, on our health and on our mental well being.
